In efforts to benefit Elk Grove Food Pantries, the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, and Lions Club are hosting an Elk Grove Community Food Drive on Saturday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Support local food pantries by donating non-perishable items to one of the two collection sites on May 30 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Volunteers will be onsite to unload donations from vehicles.

Elk Grove Township Food Pantry is in need of personal hygiene items to help stock the food pantry. As a greater need has arisen, the stock of key items are nearly depleted. The Township is grateful for any donations, but the most dire needs include shampoo, laundry soap, deodorant, hand soap, toilet paper, toothpaste, and paper towels. To donate, please drop off donations during normal food pantry pick up at the west entrance of 600 Landmeier Road in Elk Grove Village (Tuesday or Thursday between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.) If these times are not convenient or for larger donations, please call us at 224-265-6111 to make arrangements. ...
